611.  Massive collages of geometric city shapes.

So this was an idea I started toying with months ago.  It eventually shifted a bit to include other geometries, and I think will end up being the backdrops for the huge collages I want to use with all of the drawings I’ve been doing for the last year or so.  It’s the biggest project I’ve worked on since my four drawings, but hopefully not one that takes me another four years.  I’d love for these to be showable by October.

This image is a very early experiment with this idea.  There’s quite a few hours into it, even if it doesn’t end up being part of the final project.
